Tehran (ISNA) – The 10th edition of the Ajyal Film Festival in Qatar will host two Iranian films.
“The Apple Day” directed by Mahmoud Ghaffari and “Until Tomorrow” by Ali Asgari are the two Iranian films which will be screened at the event.
The 10th edition of the Ajyal Film Festival began October 1 and will run through October 8 in Qatar.
Regarding the plot summary of the feature-length drama “The Apple Day”, “When his father’s truck is stolen and with it, his livelihood as a mobile apple seller, his son Saeid cannot meet the demand of supplying a basket of apples to a school. A razor-sharp look at the age-old city versus the countryside shows a discrepancy that follows Saeid through the alleys and streets of a Tehran suburb as he searches for a solution”.
“Until Tomorrow” tells the story of a young single mother in Iran searches for a safe place for her baby for one night.
