“Khaneh Sabz”: A Captivating Radio Journey Through Museums and Cultural Exploration
Radio Saba’s innovative program Khaneh Sabz (The Green House) takes listeners on a delightful and documentary-style journey into the world of museums and cultural tourism, aiming to make the museum experience both accessible and engaging for families.
According to rahbordbazar, quoting goodnewsagency, Khaneh Sabz is one of the latest productions by the network, produced by Mojgan Farzin. The show is designed to promote museum visits, rediscover historical identity, and attract families to cultural spaces in a friendly and relatable format.
Explaining the structure and purpose of the program, Mojgan Farzin said: “With the slogan ‘I have a house, greener than the leaf of a tree!’, Khaneh Sabz offers a weekly documentary-style narrative visit to one of Iran’s museums. The program aims to recreate the atmosphere of an in-person museum visit through vivid storytelling and immersive audio experiences.”
She further noted the common misconception that museums are dull and formal spaces, stating: “Unfortunately, many people view museums as dry institutions. But in reality, today’s museums serve as dynamic centers for education, cultural experiences, and visitor engagement. With this program, we aim to reintroduce museums as vibrant, living spaces ideal for family outings.”
Khaneh Sabz offers a fresh perspective that aims to demystify museums and redefine their role in promoting culture, education, and historical identity in society.
📻 Khaneh Sabz airs every Thursday at 16:00 on Radio Saba.
