
Iran Takes a Major Step Toward the Future of Advanced Technologies
In line with the development of the country’s scientific and technological infrastructure, the National Innovation Center for Quantum Technologies will be launched in 1403 with the support of the Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy. This center, to be located at Pardis Technology Park, is established with the goal of organizing, supporting, and accelerating strategic projects in the field of quantum technologies.
According to rahbordbazar, quoting goodnewsagency, Dr. Rouhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi, the Vice President for Science and Technology, announced on the sidelines of the second meeting of the Quantum Technologies Steering Council: the formation of this national center has been approved by council members to focus on practical and transformative projects in the quantum field.
He added that in the initial phase, more than 100 top talents and technologists from across the country will be recruited. With access to modern infrastructure, suitable financial conditions, employment support, and advanced research facilities, they will begin their work in this key area.
Emphasizing the strategic role of this center in the future of science and industry in Iran, Dehghani expressed hope that the National Innovation Center for Quantum Technologies would soon become a leading hub for the production, development, and export of quantum technologies in the region and the world.
Quantum technologies, as one of the fundamental transformations of the present century, are applied in areas such as quantum computing, ultra-precise sensors, secure communications, and advanced scientific modeling. Their development can significantly influence the scientific and economic power of countries.
