Tehran (ISNA) – Within the week starting on 21st of November and ending on 25th of November, the IME played host to trade of 504,759 tonnes of commodities worth more than 47,000 billion rials.
According to a report by the IME’s international affairs and PR the IME experienced a 10% growth in trading volume within this week.
The mineral and industrial trading floor saw trade of 65,574 tonnes of commodities with a trading value of 11,163 billion rials. Commodities sold here included 61,954 tonnes of steel, 400 tonnes aluminum, 3,100 tonnes of copper, 120 tonnes of molybdenum and 5 kg of gold bars.
The IME’s domestic and export pits of the oil and petrochemical trading floor of the IME traded 427,953 tonnes of commodities worth 36,262 billion rials altogether. Statistics reveal that 214,500 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 110,832 tonnes of bitumen, 51,647 tonnes of polymeric products, 24,307 tonnes of chemicals, 30,000 tonnes of lube cut, 1,355 tonnes of insulation, 2,441 tonnes of base oil, 150 tonnes of argon and 2,720 tonnes of sulfur were sold on this floor.
Based on this report, the exchange experienced trade of 1,232 tonnes of various commodities on its side market.
