Tehran (ISNA) – The lawyer of British-Iranian detainees Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Anoosheh Ashoori announced that they have been released from custody on Wednesday.
Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Anousheh Ashouri are on their way to a Tehran airport to leave Iran after years of detention, their lawyer Hojjat Kermani said.
“Both of them are on their way to the airport in Tehran to leave Iran,” Kermani said.
On Tuesday Boris Johnson, who was in the UAE, said negotiations about Zaghari-Ratcliffe were “moving forward” but “going right up to the wire”.
Johnson confirmed that a British negotiating team was working in Tehran to secure the release of dual nationals.
